In 2010, Scott Tharp started My Family Tradition Sauce and Rub Company and since then we’ve done more than refine an old tradition: we’ve started a new one - MFT CATERING. MFT Catering is guided by a strong purpose of caring for family with natural food, and our passion for cooking and barbecuing. MFT Catering is based out of Boise, Idaho, and operated by Scott Tharp and Janel Miles since 2013. We love catering for Boise events and serving our Boise community. MFT CATERING is Boise's premier caterer for events big and small. We’re a custom boutique caterer specializing in barbecued meats and fresh, scratchmade sides.  

MFT SAUCE is Boise’s only natural handmade condiment company. We use organic and local ingredients like our Apple Cider Vinegar from Fruitland, ID. Our sauce is as specialty as it gets!

We believe in purveying products that promote health and flavor, providing a trusted source for you and your family to eat well. Purvey goodness!

COOKING CLASSES

Thursday’s with Tharp - join us each 3rd Thursday of the month for a fun and educational cooking class with Chef Scotty, Our focus is teaching simple family recipes using natural and whole foods!

TRI-TIP THURSDAYS

Pick-up HOT or Heat@Home - Tri-tip Thursday, 4th Thursday of the month, is your chance to buy our delicious food without catering an event. Order online by Wednesday at noon to reserve your dinner. (Limited quantities are available.)
